The students were not particularly thrilled about their next class. It wasn’t that they didn’t like English. It was more like it was one crazy teacher after another, and Sekirai was no different. It’s not like they have any choice though.
Grade wasn’t particularly thrilled visiting Momoyuri either. He had come a long way to meet up with Sekirai, whom he doesn’t really have a particular fondness of. Together with his bodyguards, he sighs and enters the school grounds.
“Would anyone tell me what a ‘gerund’ is,” asked Sekirai to his students nonchalantly. “Anyone? No one?” He would repeat whenever no one raised his hands. Pulling out a trump card in an attempt to make his students answer, he threw a picture of his daughter at their faces.
“This is my daughter,” he explains. “If anyone told me the correct answer, I would let you have the chance to date my daughter.” Almost immediately, the boys of the class started raising their hands. However, the girls wondered about how this strategy would even work.
“Oh yes, and for the girls,” Sekirai says as he takes his phone from his pocket, “This is my ”/campaigns/descha/characters/hideki-shiroi-miyamuri" class=“wiki-content-link”>nephew and you may have a chance to date him too. Almost immediately, the girls of the class also started raising their hands. Somewhere at the other side of the country, an incredibly intense shudder could be felt.
It was there when Grade interrupted the class, calling out to Sekirai. “It has been a while,” he said to Sekirai. Naturally, Sekirai wouldn’t pass to tease Grade. “Oh hey it’s Kitty Grade. And you’ve grown up pretty well too,” he replied while putting cat ears on Grade’s head. Some of Grade’s bodyguards are a little perturbed by this and started readying themselves but Grade stopped them, albeit grudgingly.
“I see you’re having a…ehem…healthy life here at Momoyuri,” said Grade. “However, as you know, I’m here for a reason. Portals have been opening up all over DesCha and that includes DesCha East. Since you are one of the closest operatives in the Eastern part of the country, I’d like you to find the source of these manifestations as soon as you can.” Sekirai takes note of this while still teasing Grade.
“I suppose that’s that.” Grade then raises his eyebrows and said, “Oh and, selling your daughter and nephew for a date to your students? Really?”
“Ah! But I said I’d give them a chance to date them. I never said I actually would. Semantics. That’s our next lesson, by the way,” Sekirai grinned.
Grade and Sekirai then parted ways, of which Sekirai took advantage and started a little text wars with his relatives at the other side of the country.
