Bellamy

The city of Bellamy is the the capital of University Prefecture, and home to Senta University. It is best known as a university town, and the only prefectural capital not built alongside a major port area.

Demographics

As the commercial centre of DesCha Central, Central City can be classified as multiethnic. The 2010 population census showed the racial makeup as 46.7% White, 42.9% Asian, 5.1% Pacific Islander, 4.2% Indigenous DesChan, 1.1% other races.

Urban Structure

Due to Senta University’s size in relation to the city, the city itself supports only 10 districts. The majority of the city’s zoning is dedicated to accommodation (as the city population swells up significantly during the school year, and even further during Senta FC home matches). The remaining districts are commercial, and there is only one district zoned for industrial use.
